EMG partners with fd2s, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences For Donor Recognition
EMG recently was selected by The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) to implement a system wide donor recognition project for the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
Using painted aluminum, 3030 Green Glass Acrylic, and extensive silkscreened copy, this donor recognition system was designed to be installed in both indoor and outdoor applications, providing an all-season solution for their exterior needs, while maintaining a similar look for their interior projects.
EMG was required to manufacture custom aluminum tube pieces which wrapped the masonry columns in many locations, and had to innovate new fastening methods for many locations due to curved walls and special substrate conditions.
fd2s, Inc. of Austin, Texas was the lead design firm for this work, which was warmly received by UAMS patrons and staff.
