Tulsa Librarium Goes Retro With Signage
The Tulsa City-County Library is undertaking a massive renovation of the main Central Library, a crown jewel of Mid-Century Modern Architecture located on the courthouse plaza in downtown Tulsa.
During the extensive renovation, in an attempt to continue to serve its client base, the library system is opening a temporary “Librarium” in a converted “Marina-Style” defunct Safeway store. (For more about these architectural gems, visit (http://www.agilitynut.com/modarch/food2.html). Using Abet Laminati brand laminate and engraving stock and clear braille, EMG fabricated these really fabulous looking plaques for the new Librarium, keeping the retro look alive.
